Q4 Sports Tryouts - Girls Basketball & Boys Soccer
Fourth quarter of sports is just around the corner with tryouts starting for girls basketball next week and for boys soccer right after Spring Break. Athletes must bring a parent signed tryout permission form to their coach before they will be allowed to participate. Tryout Permission Forms can be picked up in the front office or downloaded from the MPS Junior High Athletics page. Please be sure your student brings appropriate clothing and shoes for tryouts.

5 PM: XC is running at Taylor, 7th Volleyball & Flag Football are away at Kino, while 8th Volleyball & Flag Football are home vs. Kino
5 PM: the late bus is running

After school tutoring and clubs start back up this week for 2nd semester. The late bus will run, as well, leaving campus at about 5 PM.
Let's show our support to the Shepherd National Academic League in their two games this week. Tuesday is away vs. Rhodes and Thursday we play at home vs. Fremont. Games are scheduled to begin about 4:45 PM depending on the bus. Good luck NAL!!!

Girls Volleyball tryouts for 7th & 8th grade begin after school today and will continue Friday and Monday, as well. 7th Flag Football completes their tryouts this week. The 8th Flag Football team has already formed and is practicing after school. Cross Country will be starting up Monday, January 9th.
Winter Break is December 19 - January 3. We look forward to welcoming students back on Wednesday, January 4. Wising all of you happy holidays and a fun, safe Winter Break!
